About This Course
A focused performance workshop for candidates who understand the law but lose marks when questions are long, unfamiliar or deliberately close. Participants learn how to deal with plausible options, precision words, missing predicted answers and time pressure. The session replaces improvised decision-making with practical rules for answering, flagging and moving on calmly.
• When does further analysis improve an answer, and when does it waste time?
• Which wording in an option signals the wrong legal threshold?
• What personal behaviour appears when several difficult questions occur together?
Learning outcomes
• Apply core exam rules that prevent avoidable lost marks.
• Break down long fact patterns without treating every detail as equally important.
• Use wording such as could, should, must, most likely and best to distinguish close options.
• Resolve a two-option dilemma using the call, legal threshold and decisive fact.
• Make controlled answer, flag and move-on decisions under time pressure.
